Tonight, I derived some small satisfaction from pointing out the rise of the gorgeous, golden, full moon to the members of the Covenant Worship Center walking from Wednesday night services to their cars.
They were very friendly and tolerant of the (crazy? nice?) white woman as I stood upon the sidewalk and said my prayers.

But, as I sat in the guest room and worked on some beading, I could feel her - how big and powerful and beautiful she was! Heh - shades of "Moonstruck"...
Covenant Worship Center?

Re: Covenant Worship Center?
Covenant Worship Center, which I mentioned, is a little bigger than this, but still fairly small - not a big "church" building - and actually have quite full, lively Wednesday eve services along with Sundays. They've got quite the band.
Huh. There's even a wikipedia article on the subject:

Re: Covenant Worship Center?
Thanks though! All very interesting!
My little one seems to have grown out of her exhuberance for yelling 'Hail to the moon' when she sees the moon in the evening. I'm going to have to remind her of how cool it is to greet the moon with a good 'hail'. :-)
i've been texting, calling and emailing my boyfriend about the moon's moon-ness for the past 2-3 days now. he's gonna get it!!
I'd walked up the stairs in the dark, for once not being so nervous of the dark that I *had* to put the lights on, and was rewarded by the moon shining unexpectedly thought the bedroom window.
Happy Thoughts.
